Betta Book Publishing was born in March 2008, and was created by Founder and President Kelly Sabetta. Located in Rochester, NY, Betta Book Publishing helps authors achieve their dream of publishing by providing guidance, knowledge, and assistance throughout the entire process.

Betta Book Publishing is different from other companies in many ways. We work with authors who are interested in self-publishing their work, or preparing for traditional publishing, and propel them to succeed with their individual projects. We are interested in working with authors who write many different genres of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.

We also provide numerous services that the author can choose from, as we are enthusiastic to gain a thorough understanding of their work, progress, and intended goals for their audience to help them achieve their dream of publishing.

Kelly Sabetta - Founder/President 

Kelly Sabetta is the Founder and President of two self-started companies, Betta Book Publishing and Nature Spirit Healing, where Kelly serves as publisher and editorial support system for others. She offers support and guidance in respect to writing, editing, publishing, and publicity. With love and light, she assists those who wish to create, polish, and share their authentic messages for the highest, best, and greater good of humankind.

Throughout her experience, Kelly has been featured in nationally- and globally-distributed media on the Web, such as Yahoo!, Forbes Magazine, and ABC; as well as local and regional media outlets including YNN, Democrat and Chronicle, Rochester Business Journal, Messenger Post Newspapers, and many, many more. She’s also been cordially invited to participate in the Future of Publishing Summit held in New York City, where she was in attendance with book, magazine, and newspaper visionaries that included representatives from Harper Collins, Disney Publishing Worldwide, Random House, TIME Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, New York Times, and many, many more.

As a writer, Kelly has also had her work featured in nationally-distributed publications including Next Step Magazine, Real Magazine, and numerous literary magazines. Her journalistic and public relations work has also been featured in local, regional, national, and international news outlets, as well as throughout the Web.

Kelly is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of SUNY College at Brockport, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree with honors in journalism and a minor in creative writing. She provides more than 15 years experience as a writer, 9 years as an editor, and 5 years as a publisher and publicity consultant to all of her clients. Kelly combines her expertise with her passion and ambitious spirit, as she is dedicated to helping others succeed. Utilizing her skills, she serves as a vehicle to help others create, share, and promote their authentic message to not only benefit the individual’s journey, but to benefit the community as a whole.

Kelly is very active in the Upstate, NY area, and speaks with middle school, high school, and college-level students. She also holds community seminars for those who wish to learn more about publishing, publicity, social media, and post-college transitions. Kelly is a current member of the Rochester Young Professionals, and formerly served as the 2008-2010 Publicity Chair of the Greater Rochester Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners and was a member of the Rochester Women’s Network.
